The swine industry is composed of many organizations and companies that have committed to provide the most comprehensive information available about the current status of PED in the United States. Additionally, they have developed tools that farmers and veterinarians can use to properly diagnose, manage and even prevent the disease.
As the swine industry attempts to manage PED from the United States, the emphasis on research and testing will escalate.
